Summary of Client

World Wide Motors is a leading automotive dealership that offers a range of services to its customers, including sales, maintenance, and repair. The team provides customer service and body shop work as well as paint services. World Wide Motors intended for their new space to feel updated and fresh in order to improve the customer experience while also repurposing under-utilized spaces. They wanted a new space that better showcased their commitment to quality and innovation.

Project Goals

The goal was to update the space with modern workstations for customer service employees and provide an updated lounge with interior finishes matching the current Mercedes-Benz branding. On the body shop side, a new testing bay was needed that met the specific needs of World Wide Motors’ operations. It was recommended that certain standards and workflows be met so that the safety of employees was taken into consideration.

Our Solutions

Progress Studio partnered with Lauth Group on a renovation project for World Wide Motors in Indianapolis. This involved updating the existing space with new workstations that provided a more ergonomic and functional design for customer service employees. We also designed a new lounge area that incorporated the latest design trends and brand specifications, including comfortable seating, modern lighting, and a refreshment station. The new testing bay included specialized equipment and features that allowed the body shop team to perform quality inspections and repairs on vehicles with greater accuracy and efficiency. The most challenging item was to add an overhead door without compromising the existing structure to create space for a testing bay within a former office/showroom area. The project improvements were subject to the Indianapolis Regional Center approval process for updates to the exterior entrances and new overhead door.
